Holiday Gift Guide 2020 : lululemon edition!

It’s happening!!
I can’t contain my excitement. The holiday season is my favorite. I love to pick out thoughtful gifts for friends and family. Giving is my favorite!
This year, having been unemployed for most of the year (thanks to gym closures for over half the year, I took my in-person movement and stretch business entirely online), my family and friends have opted out of gift giving.
That means I’m pouring all of my gift-giving goodness into you, my dear readers!
In this post, I’ve put together all of my lululemon tips, strategies, and FIT reviews from the year to make your holiday shopping a breeze.
Is lululemon not your thing? No worries, my second gift guide is coming on Friday! That post will highlight my favorite local loves, my global partners, and a few surprises.

Covid innovations!!
I want to start with the acknowledgment that covid has been difficult for everyone. One reason I love to write (and sing) about lululemon is because the community has been such a support to me over the 10+ years I’ve shopped with them. If you’ve read my blog before, you may have more insight into all the ways my relationships at lululemon have enriched my life; if you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope to help introduce you to how lululemon is about more than just stretchy pants.
A quick note:
Please keep this in mind as you shop this holiday season: anyone working retail is faced with new challenges (masks, physical distancing, adjusted schedules, new protocols, enforcing new rules, putting themselves at greater risk for covid exposure, all while dealing with the normal holiday traffic.
Please be kind, patient, wear a mask and wash your hands!
Ways to shop
With that said, our lululemon Scottsdale Quarter store has come up with creative ways to keep you healthy AND cross items off your shopping list. Here is an overview of alternative ways you can shop!

In person. When you approach the store, you will notice an area to wait if the store is at capacity.
The rules to help you have a safe shopping experience. It will be worth the wait, I promise!
Masks are required and occupancy is monitored to allow for physical distancing.

Lululemon Scottsdale Quarter offers curbside pickup!!
Buy online, pick up in store . . . or curbside!! If you prefer to shop from the comfort of your own home, did you know that you have the option to pick up your order in store?
At Scottsdale Quarter, you can also opt to pick up your items curbside. Simply find one of the marked spaces, call upon arrival and an Educator will be out with your purchase!

The lay of the land
At Scottsdale Quarter, the front entrance opens directly into the Women’s section (you’ll see my photo on the wall to the right!).
The Men’s section is to the left. Markdown (AKA We Made Too Much) is located towards the back of the store, usually by Cash.
Fits is in the back of the store, with the Women’s pant wall.
Accessories, yoga mats, and so much more are located by the Cash register.
Pro tip: shop for accessories while you are in line! They get me every time.

Top three gifts for men
Boxers (Brian hates them because they don’t have a fly but every other guy I speak with loves them.
ABC Joggers — these are without a doubt the favorite pant of my male clients. ABC (anti ball crushing) pants come in a variety of colors, styles, lengths, and textures. Brian’s favorite is the Ventlight Mesh material! Ladies, I’ve worn the ABC Joggers too! Highly recommend.
Metal Vent Tech — this is a workout staple. Breathable, sweat wicking, and available in tank top, short sleeve, long sleeve, and several special edition styles.
I’m wearing the wunder lounge velvet tight, the define velvet jacket, and the pom perfection beanie all in color soft cranberry!
Top three gifts for women
Aligns (all of them: tanks, long sleeves, crops, shorts, tights, joggers, wide leg, they’re all fantastic)
Crushed Velvet anything (wunder lounge pants, define jackets, scrunchies, align tops, align bottoms, joggers, crew necks, crop tops!)
