I love lululemon

I’m sure that comes as NO surprise to you, if you’ve followed me for long or know me at all!

When I started lemonLOVES, I planned to do a lot of FIT reviews because I know there are a lot of barriers to get finding the perfect fit, style, and material to fuel your sweaty endeavors.

I know how intimidating it can be to walk in to the store, see all the fit, smiley, luon-clad employees, and suddenly be listening to a different language that doesn’t have a dictionary (maybe I’ll work on one).

lululemon, in the past, has had a reputation for being judgmental, elitist, and exclusionary. They are on a path to change for the better, and I hope that as an ambassador I can help YOU to feel accepted, included, and valued just as you are.

Thats my why!

up this week…lululemon’s wunder Under tight

The wunder under tight is a staple, trademark lululemon piece! I first met these tights when I thought my legs were too short, thighs too big, and couldn’t pull off leggings like my friends did. These tights changed my mind, and now I rock leggings daily!

In today’s post, I am including:

  • a summary card of the FIT review

  • nine exercises I recommend for the lower body (I did these in the #2020challenge format!)

  • a video where I highlight the product in motion and discuss the different materials they offer for this tight

  • some links to purchase online.

If you do choose to make a purchase through your links, know that your purchase supports this blog and my mission to bring health and wellness education, mindfulness tools, and movement to as many people as possible.

I so appreciate your support!

Fit = Function, Inspiration, Technical Elements

Function:

  • My go to, durable, basic tight for layering, travel, yoga, stretching, chilling, and living life.

  • Fabric is more durable and more compressive than the Align tight.

Inspiration:

It’s always in the details.

  • For me, it’s all the types of fabrics (watch my FIT video for a breakdown of fabrics), colors, patterns, lengths (everything from a short to a crop to a full to a tall version), special editions (with mesh, with lace, Earth Day, SeaWheeze half marathon prints, store-branded items), and waist rises (super high, high, mid, and low).

  • I don’t have to guess my size because the fit is standard for this style. It’s the best!

Technical elements:

  • Minimal seams

  • Hidden pocket!

  • Full coverage.

Sweat tested

Have you seen the 2020 Challenge on Instagram? If not, you should check it out for a good laugh.

This week I did the 2020 Challenge (wearing wunder unders!) with a fitness twist. Put on your tights and give these a try!

I also wrote an important post on Instagram about the state of Arizona, public health, and certain industries being restricted from opening (for half of the year to date). Please read, and do what you can to effect change.

You can read it here.

Now my favorite…the shopping!

I love all camo! Here’s an example of Full On Luxtreme (fabric type) in a 7/8 length (25” inseam). Soon you’ll be interpreting tags like a pro!

Regular Luxtreme, 28” inseam.

Full On Luon (my “winter” pants! Warmer, more compressive, matte look to the material. This are a Tall inseam (31”).
