Feature Friday: Meet Dr. Stacie Morris of The Physio Fix!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Stacie Morris. She is a doctor of physical therapy, a former collegiate gymnast, a current Olympic weightlifter, and a wonderful human. Stacie and I have been office mates for the past couple of years, and she radiates positivity 24/7. She is dedicated to her patients’ health as well as her own. She is knowledgeable and innovative, yet what I appreciate the most about her is her giant heart. Stacie cares, and it shows in everything she does!

I’ve been her patient for close to two years. She has consistently been the bright spot in my day through an extremely long and challenging recovery. I couldn’t have done it without her. She’s been a rock for me! I’m not crying, you’re crying!!

Good thing I’m writing this before my delayed onset muscle soreness sets in from my session with her today… without further ado, here we go!

What do you like most about your favorite lululemon product?

How amazingly comfortable the material is and how they are perfect for any occasion like lounging around the house or while working out and I can even dress them up and wear them out. I love how versatile they are & I love how I feel while wearing them!

Edit: I couldn’t have said it better myself!! Quick note on the Wunder Under High Rise Pant: this is a core item, so you will always find a rainbow of options in store and online. I will do a full post on the WUP down the road, but for right now here is what you need to know!

Wunder Unders come in four different lengths (31”, 28”, 25”, and 21”), three fabric options (luon, a cotton that’s great for yoga or casual wear; luxtreme, think sweat wicking with light compression to hold you in all the right places; and brushed luxtreme, like luxtreme but warmer and softer!

My current favorites are the 25” inseam in CAMO (three different options!) in luxtreme. The PARALLEL STRIPE is a cult favorite so don’t delay on grabbing your pair as they won’t last long. Finally, I adore the MESH special editions —these qualify as my “fancy lululemon”. I’ve linked all of them so check them out! Disclaimer: as part of the lululemon collective I will receive a commission if you purchase from these links. :)

Tell us about this one thing you can't live without!

My phone is how I stay connected with friends and family and it’s how I’m able to make an impact larger than just those people in my community!

How do you practice kindness to your body?

I practice kindness to my body by setting time aside daily to do some form of movement, whether thats a full-on 60-90 minute workout or just 10 minutes of mobility work, I make sure to schedule myself first and move every single day 😊

What else do you want to share with our community?

I offer online rehab / strength / mobility programs as well as custom remote coaching. All information can be found on my instagram 😊

Edit: She’s incredible, and her online programs are so accessible. Go check out her latest program — its a steal of a deal!!

That’s all for today, friends. How are YOU practicing kindness to your body today? If you need some ideas, I will be posting a ton of suggestions in the next few days. I’ll also be getting ideas from each person I interview. I love how Stacie schedules the time for herself because she knows how important it is. It truly is a practice!
